FOSTERING AN ARTISTIC HAVEN

COMMISSION SYSTEM
Our system is a ticket-based art commissioning system within our Discord server, designed to facilitate the process of commissioning various types of artworks, such as traditional drawings, screenshots/edits, logos, emojis, and infographics. This system streamlines the process by providing a structured way for users to request and obtain creative works. It prioritizes our dedicated artists, the Creative Crew, while also opening up opportunities for other talented artists within the community.
OPENING A TICKET
Users who want to commission an artwork must first open a ticket. Someone from our team will post a template for them to fill out. This template collects essential information about the commission request, including the type of artwork they want, their budget, any references or ideas they have, the desired deadline, and other relevant details. Initially, when a ticket is opened, it is made available to a small, select group of artists, our Creative Crew. These artists regularly help us in creating artworks for community events, emotes, graphics and more. Because of their dedication and contributions, members of the Creative Crew receive priority access to commission tickets.
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Artists from the Creative Crew can express their interest in taking up the commission by sharing their portfolio or asking questions in the designated channel. This allows the ticket opener to see the available options and assess which artist aligns best with their vision. If there is a match between the ticket opener's request and an artist from the Creative Crew who is interested and available, they will then continue the discussion with the commissioner in a private conversation, updating them with sketches, WIPs, etc (or however their workflow is).
ALTERNATIVE OPTION
In the event that no suitable match is found within the Creative Crew, the ticket can be made available to all artists on the server after a few days. This expands the pool of potential artists who can fulfill the commission.
TICKET CLOSURE
The commissioner has the option to close the ticket at any time. This can be done either during the artist selection phase (if so, please tell us why), while working out the details with the artist in private or after the commission is completed.
While we aim to ensure a positive and productive environment, we would like to make it clear that: United Arts of Tyria does not take over the responsibility for the completion or quality of commissioned artworks. All interactions and agreements made between artists and commissioners are independent arrangements. Any issues arising during the commission process should be resolved between the involved parties. UAoT is not liable for any disputes, delays, or dissatisfaction related to commissioned artworks. We expect all users of our community to engage in respectful and appropriate behavior when interacting with artists and other community members. Misbehavior, harassment, or any form of inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Failure to maintain a respectful behavior may result in removal from the server. If a commissioner repeatedly fails to respond to an artist or exhibits a lack of communication, it can hinder the commission process and cause inconvenience to artists. In such cases, UAoT reserves the rights to take action, which may include warnings, removal from the server and/or adding people to our black-list.
CREATIVE CREW
The Create Crew is a group of volunteering artists and editors that help us create stunning artworks, posters, edits, teasers, trailers and more for community events and sometimes even offer their artistic skills as rewards for contest winners in the form of artworks. In our server's Ticket Commission System, the Creative Crew gets priority access before everyone else to the tickets and can thus offer their services first, before the rest of the server's artists. Additionally, the Creative Crew can offer their skills in our Art Auctions to support the guild and at the same time bring joy to a communtiy member. Members of the Crew are also more than welcome to stream their commissions or doodles on our Twitch channel. We also regularly repost content of Creative Crew members on our X account.
